Word of the Day

Eudaimonia - Greek word translates to happiness or welfare; however; “Human flourishing or prosperity” and “blessedness” have been proposed as more accurate translations. “The Highest Good” as explained by Aristotle in his Nicomachean Ethics.

This will be my next tattoo. After reading a few works by the philosopher Aristotle this past week, this word stuck out to me like a sore thumb. It relates to; well is, the end all be all of human existence. What we strive for. Not the money, the accolades, or approval of others but the totality of it all, and that being happiness gained from oneself. The perfection of Human Nature.
