GoonMilkTV vol.13 Thanksgiving in Biloxi with Ma

IMG_3359.jpeg

Every end of the year me and Ma take a trip to celebrate getting through our year and to get away from the day to day routine. This year the trip fell on Thanksgiving and we went to Biloxi, Mississippi for a Free Casino weekend. Our second time at the Beau Rivage; the first Was in 2017, you can check out that trip on my blog as well. They give a free room and free comp play in the Casino and Hotel. A much needed reboot and relaxing mini vacation with my OG. Not only was this trip needed but couldn’t come at a better time. Many people don’t know just how hard my Mom and I had it coming up. Yes we may be living better and outside looking in may seem to have it all together but the trials and tribulations we’ve survived supporting one another have never left my mind and continue to push me to be a better man. From her health problems and battling cancer and winning twice! To my many life changing pitfalls and health issues and still be able to simply smile and take trips and have each others back is unbelievable sometimes. It is really a blessing and I can never take her or my family for granted. When no one was there, My OG has and will always be a call away. Many people don’t have that and I wish I could share my mom with everyone in the world who hasn’t experience the love of a caring and dedicated mom. In all actuality she deserves the world and I won’t rest until I can provide that for her and my family to come. My mom is my motivating factor and what I do everything for. I truly do cherish the days I spend with my mom on trips like this and I know Ima “mamas boy” and it used to be something to frown upon but when you’ve been thru what we’ve been thru you have to acknowledge the one person who has your back regardless of the dumb shit you do from time to time.
Definition of unconditional love.

What we ended up doing the entire trip was sleeping in, eating good, and going to Fat Tuesday’s everyday lol. I read two books, journaled and just got my mind right. Personally I’ve not been myself and getting my mental back to a good space was needed. I’m back focused on myself and bettering my situation. Set some goals and let some things go that don’t deserve the attention I was willing to give it despite the mental turmoil it costed me, ie. social media. I’m not perfect and never claimed to be but when you are perceived that way it’s hard to live up to those expectations, especially when it’s through a lens like social media where people don’t know the real you. All in all I’m better off and becoming a better me day by day. I’m getting back to the things I loved to do before Twitter and IG took over my down time.
The Casino wasn’t friendly at all the entire trip, but the last day right before we left for the airport I hit for a lil dough lol. I guess Lucky Lefty still got some juice…
