Paris Fashion Week '19

Louis Vuitton SS19 Accessories by Virgil Abloh using Fiber Optic lights that change color

Paris Fashion Week this year was pretty dope, from Virgil’s Louis Vuitton SS19 Menswear show or Hedi Slimane’s Celine show, to the Sacai show by Chitose Abe and Dior by Kim Jones. Everyone is pushing limits and sticking to their separate lanes of expertise but still infusing new textures and amazing new details like fiber optics or amazing hardware on Menswear staples and accessories.

Heres a few of my favorite looks from the aforementioned designers during Paris Fashion Week 2019!

Christian Dior Winter ‘19 by Kim Jones. His use of Mathew M. Williams Hardware buckles is Dope.

Sacai FW19 by Chitose Abe. That leopard print biker is fire!

Celine Winter 19 by Hedi Slimane. My favorite look of the show!

Celine Winter 19 by Hedi Slimane. Sucker for a quality varsity jacket and penny loafers.

Sacai FW19 by Chitose Abe. Sacai’s mix of textures is crazy, i love it.

Christian Dior Winter 19 by Kim Jones. Having the models on a Airport escalator instead of walking was dope. Cleaner Pictures.

Celine Winter 19 by Hedi Slimane. The fur is Fire.

Street style was also crazy as people layered and rocked some of this upcoming seasons most sought after garments and accessories. Here’s a few of my favorite looks from th street as well. One day I’ll be featured during Paris Fashion Week for sure.

This past week Kris Van Assche announced that he will be stepping down from Dior Homme and Kim Jones will be replacing him as Artistic Director after 11 years at the fashion house. Jones, whom recently left Louis Vuitton after 7 years, will begin his reign starting with their Paris Menswear fashion week in June.

Also I'm extremely excited at the announcement of Ricardo Tisci taking over at Burberry. Tisci being the designer behind Givenchy for years and influencing a generation that may or may not know to give him some credit for doing so. I mean Watch the Thrown era was basically all Ricardo Tisci and Ye, but I digress. These are some of my favorite designers and Major moves are being made in the fashion industry. Got me feeling inspired to create more and more.
