Beginning of October I took a few days to myself to reset and regroup in the beautiful city of Angels, Los Angeles. My wife booked me a flight for my Father’s Day gift and as always one of the best gift givers in the world it was right on time. The entire week before my trip we’ve been moving out our first apartment in Capitol Heights, back across town to Fort Washington to help take care of my Grandparents and help my Mom out with renovating the house. Having to Recarpet bedrooms, clean out bathrooms, hire movers, replace stoves and a Kitchen Sink, had all begun to weigh on me and my pockets so getting away was very much needed. Though only for a weekend it did what it needed to do. Huge shoutout to my brother Dell for the hospitality, room and board while I pretty much slept the weekend away lol. We did get to hike up Runyon Canyon on maybe the hottest day of the year smh lol. Being in LA I make it a point to go up Runyon and enjoy that view that seemingly feels on top of the world. Also enjoyed the many fruit bowls and smoothies every morning that tasted like some of the freshest fruit I’ve ever had in my life. The trip also fell on ComplexCon weekend but if you’ve ever been before it’s a lot of long lines and clout chasing so we didn’t even attempt to go with free wristbands at our disposal. From the looks of it on Social Media we didn’t miss much. We did pop out to a pop up for one of Dell’s friends and ran into my brother Arrington from back home. As always I’m going to bump into someone I know. Arrington being one of my first supporters of GoonMilk and truly a brother from another mother the link up was overdue. He’s now building his fashion label and creating on a whole new level with cut and sew garments about to take his talents to Milan. Super proud and happy for my guy! LA has a hold on my heart and always feels like a second home, in another life I’m sure I’d be from there.
