Jerry Lorenzo

Friday I'll be flying out to Long Beach for ComplexCon 2 day Expo and Concert. Looking forward to the ComplexCon[versations] series with a number of analyst and different streetwear themed conversations from people like Virgil Abloh, Takashi Murakami, Chicago DON C, Gary Vee, Jerry Lorenzo, and a number of others all weekend. Music performances and exclusive vending from select designers like BBC, Off white, Adidas Y3, you know just endless cool shit... Aside from the convention I plan to shoot with a few of my friends that reside on the west side now. Maybe even do some interviews of their perspective from living on that side and being where we from and how they differ or correlate.

Truth be told even though Ive only been to L.A. once i could see myself living out there. Theres a certain feeling of creative freedom out there. I can't wait to get that feeling again on friday. Oh and when I land Im racing to the staples center to catch the end of the Lakers game against Deangelo Russel in his first game back as a Brooklyn net.

What a time to be Alive.

Jerry Lorenzo has become more and more influential and inspiring in my fashion styling and over-all aesthetic. His Brand Fear Of God is becoming a staple in celebrity closets; i.e.. Migos, Kanye, Fabolous, Wale, and so on. Tattered jeans with luxury details like ankle slit zippers, Satin team jackets, High top kicks with a vintage basketball silhouette. Everything I thought was cool growing up he's reimagined into FOG. Much alike one of my other favorite designers DonC with his Just Don line. Fear Of God giving a more Cali vibe, and Just Don straight sportswear memorabilia with luxury accents and details. These Guys are who I study and immulate in the Fashion industry as of Lately.
