Tribute to the Great

It really took me a while to even wrap my mind around doing a tribute video for Nip, still can’t believe he’s gone. But since his untimely death Ive been working tirelessly chasing my goals and really grinding 25/8 because I feel like thats what Nip would want niggas to do.

“Live yo life and grow, push the V12 to the pipe and smoke”

My guy went out like I never seen before… Sold out the Staple center in 20 minutes, 25 mile funeral precession, Mended gang relations almost immediately all over the world. Raised 200 million and gave 41,000 jobs to people of his community. you are the benchmark for stand up guys. I pray I can leave a legacy as large as yours big homie!

Paris Fashion Week '19

Louis Vuitton SS19 Accessories by Virgil Abloh using Fiber Optic lights that change color

Paris Fashion Week this year was pretty dope, from Virgil’s Louis Vuitton SS19 Menswear show or Hedi Slimane’s Celine show, to the Sacai show by Chitose Abe and Dior by Kim Jones. Everyone is pushing limits and sticking to their separate lanes of expertise but still infusing new textures and amazing new details like fiber optics or amazing hardware on Menswear staples and accessories.

Heres a few of my favorite looks from the aforementioned designers during Paris Fashion Week 2019!

Christian Dior Winter ‘19 by Kim Jones. His use of Mathew M. Williams Hardware buckles is Dope.

Sacai FW19 by Chitose Abe. That leopard print biker is fire!

Celine Winter 19 by Hedi Slimane. My favorite look of the show!

Celine Winter 19 by Hedi Slimane. Sucker for a quality varsity jacket and penny loafers.

Sacai FW19 by Chitose Abe. Sacai’s mix of textures is crazy, i love it.

Christian Dior Winter 19 by Kim Jones. Having the models on a Airport escalator instead of walking was dope. Cleaner Pictures.

Celine Winter 19 by Hedi Slimane. The fur is Fire.

Street style was also crazy as people layered and rocked some of this upcoming seasons most sought after garments and accessories. Here’s a few of my favorite looks from th street as well. One day I’ll be featured during Paris Fashion Week for sure.

DMV artist K’ron drops his latest visual for BLS shot by Cool Kids Films.

Last month Amber hit me up saying she was doing wardrobe for an artists video and wanted a few pieces to style some extras, but ended up getting to style the artist in one of our custom jackets and and a military jacket on the antagonist in the video. Dope concept and the song is fire. Much appreciation to Amber (@AmbersReign) for making the play happen, she’s seen in the video as well (light skin with the green short cut) in the party scene.

Another great look to begin the year off for GoonMilk.

About two years ago, I created the GoonMilk QR scan code to generate more traffic toward the site. It uses your smart phone camera to instantly link you to GoonMilk.co. At first I tried to push Tees and apparel with the QR code on it but never really caught any traction. I guess it flew over people’s heads that you could buy a tee from off your tee. But recently I cooked up the idea to post the QR scan code all round the DMV along with posters teasing the upcoming GOONS drop.

Incorporating technology within the shopping experience has been one of my greatest ideas as of late because shopping in stores has become a hassle now that you can basically do any and everything from your smart phone. In a day and age where robots are projected to take over the postal service, you never want to be behind the curve of technology and innovation when it comes to your business. To me, QR codes are just a step in the right direction; using them for special events, promo sales, or even scavenger hunts in the near future will be my next step. And with Augmented Reality making major waves in the technology industry, soon enough you want even have to go to a store to try clothes on. Just Scan a QR mirror and the mirror transforms into your personal dressing room, how dope would that be?

Anyways thats my genius idea of the day. Check out a few of the posters that have been spread throughout the DMV and how to use the QR codes below.

Couple weeks ago I got to shoot with long time friend and high school classmate Shaun Jones who has built her brand Memory Lane photography from the ground up, straight out the mud. This being our third time working together I felt it was time we stepped it up a notch and found the perfect location for my Private Stock apparel shoot. Many may not know but the National Harbor is now the host of retired US Presidential Private Jet, “Air Force One”. When I found out I already envisioned the shoot and honestly couldn’t have dreamed it up any better than these photos came out. Shoutout to YB for modeling and Amber for coming thru in the clutch with the assist and prop gun!

Also I made a few Motion Graphics that came out pretty clean as well but you can check those out on our IG feed.
