Kitsuen Grand Opening

Adjustments.jpeg

Friday I had the privilege of attending the Grand opening of Ramen/Saki bar Kitsuen on H st. Owned by Wayne n Tony of W&T night life and Virginia native Pusha T of the rap group Clipse. The space is luxurious yet home-y with a bar, kitchen, and back patio on the main floor and a hookah lounge upstairs with plenty seating and tables.

Adorned with portraits of Pusha T and Graffiti of Asian inspiration, Kitsuen has the potential to be a new favorite amongst ramen aficionados and night life lovers as well. staffed with your favorite bartenders serving saki bombs as well as a slew of different Sakis and crafted cocktails at a premium price range. The drinks are good and the service is fast and friendly.

Hats off to Wayne, Tony, and Push, I had the chance to congratulate each of them on their new venture into the DC restaurant business as well as another successful venture in the city. I’ve known Wayne and Tony since they were Over Achiever nightlife promoters at LOVE nightclub back in the day. Since then they’ve taken over the DC nightlife scene opening clubs, Abigail and Saint Yves in the Dupont Circle corridor. Proud to see two guys from the area creating their own lane but also inspiring others to do the same.
