My Suit it should thank me!

Last night the 2019 Espy’s aired on ESPN. If you aren’t aware the Espy’s are ESPN’s yearly Oscar/Grammy-esque awards show where the best atheletes in the world are recognized for the years Best of the Best. I didn’t catch the actual awards because one I barely turn my tv on if it’s not for Netflix docs or 2K, and two, I didn’t know the host this year. But nonetheless I am a student of styling and love seeing red carpet outfits, here’s a few of my favorite fits!

The Louis shoulder bag completes the fit to me.

Real Tree Camo fits will always be fire to me when pulled off correctly, and with the Louis Sneakers Von Miller killed it.

I know the title says suit, but I think those who chose to drip different took the cake this year. Although the OG Stephen Jackson pulled off the sneakers and suit look perfectly, definitely worth an honorable mention.

Off-White x Nike Football Kits are MEAN!

In typical Off-White fashion, loud graphics are the focal point, having been printed across Abloh’s entire kit. Each is nuanced with references; either to hip-hop tracks he would listen to as a kid on his way to matches, or to the sponsorship aesthetics of traditional European teams. The printed dots on the other hand tell a different story. To mark the best spot to hit a ball with your foot, Virgil imagined dots on the boot. These dots worked their way up into the overall design, with appearances on the jerseys, shorts, and logo crest. You can see more of the details and the full collection below, in our latest editorial.
