The Gang came together to celebrate Rocket’s 35th Birthday this passed Sunday with a GANG only Brunch full of Champagne and, Great Food, Gas, and plenty laughs!

I couldn’t hold my excitement any longer, tried to hold off til Father’s Day but yesterday I got to see my first sonogram in person and Me and Ashlee are having a healthy baby due late December. She’s 12 weeks pregnant just finishing up her first trimester. We don’t know the sex of the baby just yet and are planning a gender reveal for our families later next month.
My greatest accomplishment yet, and I’m so excited to take on the challenge of fatherhood. The support from not only my family and close friends, but Ash’s Family as well has been so welcoming and heart warming.

Over the Past month I have watched this woman tirelessly work on this project to not only bring awareness to a very serious issue but acting on it and thriving in her new found purpose. This year me and Jordan aka @OffGarde decided to join forces and start our own Production company called Avant Garde. A joint venture combining our Photography, Videography, Editing, and Marketing skills to better service our exclusive clientele. Jordan being a walking, talking extension cord plugged in with the who’s who around the city and me working the behind the scenes operations, I see this production company making major waves in the upcoming months.

I set a few goals for 2020 and looking back at this Recap I literally crushed every single one of them two-three times over. 2021 will be even greater because if you can survive everything 2020 threw at you, you can withstand anything. Literally the worst year the world has seen in the last 50 years, more deaths than any war the world has seen, Global warming, Kobe, Aliens, Trump, Police Brutality, Covid, Wild Fires, Tsunamis, Twin Hurricanes at the same time, the Election… It was all bad. But the motto is Getting Out Of Negative Situations so that’s exactly what I did. Made lemonade out of Lemons, a way out of nothing, and documented every step of the way.

I’ve been neglecting my blog but not purposely. Just bare with me this year has been a real roller coaster ride to say the least. Just know that I’ve been working, but let me catch you guys up from last month to now.

Last Saturday I had the chance to shoot a charity flag football event #100Projects “Tackling the Digital Divide” thrown by my good friend Myrtis, creator of #100Projects and hosted by XFL wide receiver of the Washington Defenders, AJ Hendy. I also donated 30 shirts towards the event and the cause; providing learning tablets and laptops to underprivileged DC public school kids.

Last week Zel and Aja invited me to come get some shots and footage of the family as they take their annual trip to Deep Creek Lake, Maryland. A much needed week of relaxation after my Birthday and a break from everything back home. I appreciate my family as huge as it is on both sides. I wouldn’t be the man I am today without the support and encouragement from my Family and friends.

This weekend I celebrated my 32nd Birthday with my family and friends Grilling and watching Playoff basketball. Enjoyed the down time and love recieved from everyone that pulled up, texted, called, posted and or tweeted me! The love is mutual and so appreciated! The heartfelt messages of Inspiration were the highlight of my year let alone my Birthday!

Everyday but Sunday Me and Eli have been hosting morning workouts in the garage to stay fit and healthy during this pandemic!

The DMV and the universe lost a great soul this week.

I can go on for days about the parties, the Valentines Day playlists, Trillectro, but the Guy was so much cooler than the headlines he seldom took credit for. Definition of stand up guy, had his own style, and fathered a lot of these DJ’s style coming up these days. Not to mention how much of an influence him and Modi were on blogging, giving me endless pointers and help whenever needed way back when i was blogging on Blogspot.
